Alteza Films is a Portland, Oregon based video production company specializing in crafting authentic films and inspiring still photos for pivotal campaigns nationwide. With a passion for impactful storytelling, we work closely with our clients to develop strategic content plans, assembling the best-fit team to create a versatile digital content library for use across multiple channels including broadcast television, direct mail, radio and social media.
Our founder, Antonio Becerra, discovered his love for photography at the age of 12, learning to develop photos from his father in the converted bathroom of their mobile home. His passion for visual storytelling has since taken him all over the country. Antonio's work has been featured in prestigious publications like The New York Times and Time Magazine, and his expertise as a director and cinematographer has led to the creation of TV commercials in 9 states and the ad campaigns for 15 current members of Congress. As a former adjunct professor of photography at Oregon State University and a Master's Degree holder in Interdisciplinary Studies, Antonio is well-versed in photography, film studies, and education. Antonio's unique ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, from U.S. Senators to grassroots activists, allows Alteza Films to capture the genuine emotions and personalities of our subjects.
Inspired by the Mayan deity Ku Kul Khan, we strive to bridge worlds and celebrate the authentic self. We pride ourselves on our distinctive "Chingón" attitude, embracing boldness and a dedication to social justice. As selective creators, we choose projects that align with our values and give back to our communities. Alteza Films is an active member of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep and Elevated Access, providing support to grieving families and those seeking abortion and gender-affirming care. Guided by the Toltec teachings of the Four Agreements, we are impeccable with our words, we don’t take feedback personally, we don’t assume to have all the answers, but we always do our very best.
Our clients often become friends and continue to choose Alteza Films for authentic, inspirational, and powerful visual storytelling that will inspire change and leave a lasting impact.
